- RECOVERY PPS# 39223- Carpentry, elect, plumbing, HVAC, repairs multiple buildings. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO Bison Construction of Belton, Texas, as a sole source 8(a) construction contract under the authority of FAR Part 19.8, and DFARS 219.800, the Partnership Agreement between the Small Business Administration and the Department of Defense. The purpose of this project is to make repairs to building 10015. The work consists of but is not limited to performing complete asbestos, lead, and mold abatement as shown in the provided Hazmat report; perform demolition of wood framed walls and CMU; drywall ceilings; suspended acoustical ceiling grid and tiles; vinyl composition floor tile and carpet; doors, windows, window blinds, wood cabinets, wood trim, wood paneling, wood wainscot paneling, wood counters, wood chair railings, wood book shelving, mechanical HVAC systems to include air handling unit, chiller, and ductwork; roof vents, electrical systems, ceiling fans, communication systems, etc. Project will construct office areas, wall framing and drywall; replace flooring, replace windows and blinds; replace restrooms to include new layout, partitions, mirrors, ceramic wall and floor tile; replace complete suspended acoustical ceiling grid and tiles; replace doors/frames and relocate a few door frames; pressure wash exterior CMU walls; repair chips and holes in CMU block walls; fill, patch and fully restore the integrity of walls, ceilings and floors caused by demolition; fill, patch restore all substrates and finishes where fixtures, partitions and miscellaneous specialties have been removed; paint walls, doors, door frames, hand railings and exterior paintable surfaces; reseal exterior expansion joints; store front doors; construct landing and stairway; replace complete HVAC systems to include fan coil units, chiller, pumps, and exhaust fans; replace complete plumbing systems to include drain piping, cold water piping, hot water piping, water closets, water closets, urinals, sinks; replace electrical systems to include new electrical panel boards, electrical metering, electrical conduit, boxes and electrical wiring; replace complete electrical lighting systems to include new electrical luminaries, switches, electrical motion sensors, conduit, boxes, electrical wiring; replace complete communications systems to include voice data/outlets, CAT 6 wiring, patch panels, conduit and boxes; replace Knox box, and fire extinguishers/cabinets. Install complete mass notification system. The magnitude of the project is anticipated to be between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00, under NAICS 238990 ($14,000,000.00). The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract.
