Description

RECOVERY - This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The Bureau of Reclamation, Dakotas Area Office, Bismarck, North Dakota, has a requirement for construction of perimeter fencing at Keyhole Reservoir. The project consists of providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision for the construction of approximately 12,472 linear feet of 4-strand barbed-wire fence; construction of nine 16-foot-wide barbed-wire gates; construction of 45 corner, end, or brace panels; removal of approxiamately 5,438 linear feet of existing barbed-wire fence and fence posts; and removal of approximately.87 acre of existing trees as required for the construction of the fence. The work is located at Keyhole Reservoir, 26 miles west of Sundance, Wyoming, in Crook County. Contractors are urged to visit the site for a complete understanding of existing work conditions. The Small Business Size Standard applicable to this project is $14.0 million in gross annual receipts averaged over the previous three 1-year accounting periods. The RFQ will be issued on an unrestricted basis under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program for designated industry groups. Quotes will be accepted from all responsive and responsible small and large business concerns. Estimated price range: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Pursuant to Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Reclamation will issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or around January 19, 2010. Quotes will be due on or around February 19, 2010. The RFQ will be available for viewing through electronic commerce. RFQ Number R10PS60R13 will be issued via www.fbo.gov at the link provided in this notice. Vendors may also check our website http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Offers should visit the website to access the RFQ and any subsequent amendments and/or notices. Hard copies of the RFQ will be available upon request. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) database with a valid and active registration prior to award of any Federal Government contract.
