- RECOVERY--PROJECT NUMBER AJXF 069112, ANGRC OPERATIONS CENTER RECOVERY RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): CH2M HILL, INCORPORATED (DUNS 613784107) W90FYQ-09-D-0003, 2009-2010 National Architect/Engineering (A-E) Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) Contract. The Extended Type "A" Services for this project have been awarded on 17 DEC 2009, and are funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Award is a Firm Fixed Price task order, W90FYQ-09-D-0003-9003. Award was made to CH2M Hill, Incorporated (DUNS 613784107), 9191 S. Jamaica St., Englewood, CO 80112-5946 on 17 DEC 2009. The amount of the task order is $52,578.75. Work includes Type "A" Services which consist of assistance with stormwater management and erosion and sediment control permitting and this includes the services of an expedited reviewer certified by the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) to shorten the duration of the permitting process. The need for these services is due to previous permit conditions wherein MDE required that each phase of the overall project be permitted separately. The services also include the validation of a previous design for the construction of approximately 100 parking spaces and the ultimate stormwater management pond for the ANGRC OPERATIONS CENTER on the ANGRC Campus, Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland. This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because this is a task/delivery order where an exception to fair opportunity requirements was approved as this is a follow-on order to a competitive initial order (FAR 8.405-6(b)(2) or 16.505(b)(2)(iii)). This contractor designed the project and is managing other components of the Campus expansion and will bring continuity to the project. This task order is firm fixed price against the current pre-priced contract. The NAICS Code is 541310.
