- Description
- The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a period of performance of five (5), twelve month order periods. Three major variations for Telemetry Transmitters are required. The Government may make multiple awards. There is a requirement for First Article inspection. However, the Government reserves the right to waive the First Article based on background and related similar components delivered by the bidders that have demonstrated the performance of the product. Proposals will be evaluated to determine the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offer, considering technical and past performance criteria on a GO/NO-GO basis. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the Statement of Requirements at paragraph 3. Requirements and paragraph 4. Qualification and Acceptance Testing- as a technical GO/NO-GO and a past performance GO/NO-GO. First Article delivery is 180 ARO. Maximum and minimum order quantities will be as follows: Telemetry Transmitter, Type A, max. qty. 600, min. qty. 150, initial delivery 150 ARO. Telemetry Transmitter, Type B, max. qty. 600, min. qty. 150, initial delivery 150 ARO. Telemetry Transmitter, Type C, max. qty. 600, min. qty. 20, initial delivery 150 ARO. The RFP when issued, will be available through FedBizOpps at: https://www.fbo.gov/, less the statement of requirements and drawings. The statement of requirements and drawings will be made available by request only via email. It is the offerors responsibility to periodically check the website for solicitation release and amendments if applicable. No further notice will be given. Anticipated release date is on or about 11 January 2010. No telephone request will be accepted.
