Description

The U.S Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to Teledyne RD Instruments in Stennis Space Center, MS for 1 year of repair service, maintenance, upgrade and part replacementsfor 5 different types of ADCP instruments to be delivered to Stennis Space Center, MS by12/14/2010. Teledyne RD Instruments is the only known source for this requirement because they are the sole proprietary manufacturer of the equipment and only they possess the technical knowledge, software and repair instruments along with accessories for the service requested. Repair by any other vendor would void the equipment warranty. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13. 106-1 (b) (1).
