Description
To procure training for DAU Acquisition Insight Days. Lecture topics are to include: Zero Based Documentation, Services Requirements/Contracts, Incentive Contracting, The Role of Intelligence in Acquisition, Developmental Panning and S&T, Early Systems Engineering and others. Training must be from high ranking military, civilian or high ranking company officials who are experts in DoD acquisition. Training must be held in the Miami Valley region. Must accommodate 277 people or more. SIC Code is 8331, NAICS Code 611430, Size Standard $7,000,000. This is a Sole Source procurement, synopsis published for informational purposes only. Solicitation documents are not available. This proposed contract action is for a procurement which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. The proposed source is the Defense Acquisition Alumni Association 2550 Huntington Ave STE 202 Alexandria, VA 22303-1400. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations recieved within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information recieved will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. "An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selections process."
