Description
USTRANSCOM Transportation Operational Personal Property System (TOPS) Software Maintenance This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and planning purposes only. USTRANSCOM is conducting market research and desires input from industry to help in requirements planning. The information requested by this synopsis will be used within USTRANSCOM to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Please note that USTRANSCOM will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. For purposes of this synopsis the small business size standard is $25M and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541511. Information Requested: Contractors interested in assisting USTRANSCOM with our market research activities are requested to submit the following information: 1) Company Information (General): 2) Business Size: Small Business, Large Business 3) CAGE Code: 4) Describe your experience and capability in operating, modifying, and sustaining automated information systems software (other than property management and movement systems) that utilize the following products: a) Oracle Forms 3.0 b) Oracle Reports 2.0 c) Oracle Forms and Reports versions 6i, 9i, 10g d) Oracle Application Express (APEX) e) Oracle Database versions 7, 8i, 9i, and 10g f) JAVA 5) Describe your experience and capability in operating, modifying (to include interoperability testing of software modifications), and sustaining automated information systems software for property management and movement that utilize the following products: a) Oracle Forms 3.0 b) Oracle Reports 2.0 c) Oracle Forms and Reports versions 6i, 9i, 10g d) Oracle Application Express (APEX) e) Oracle Database versions 7, 8i, 9i, and 10g f) JAVA 6) Describe your experience with PowerTrack, U.S. Bank’s web-based, commercial off-the-shelf, business-to-business payment system. 7) Describe your experience providing technical software and functional user assistance and support (e.g., help desk) for automated information systems and processes. Please address general automated information systems and processes, as well as those dealing with property management and movement systems. FORMAT FOR RFI: The format for submittal of your RFI is outlined below. 1) Pages 8.5 x 11 inches in size, single or double spaced, margins not less than one inch all around, one-sided printing, pages numbered, in at least 10 point type; 2) The title page shall be limited to one page and clearly labeled “RESPONSE TO REQUEST FOR INFORMATION.” It shall also include the date of submission, the RFI response title, area(s) addressed by the response, plus respondent’s administrative and technical points of contact along with telephone and facsimile numbers, electronic mail address (if any), and signed by an authorized officer; 3) Summary – Excluding title page and bibliography/reference, the response is limited to ten (10) one-sided pages maximum. 4) Binding – Responses should be stapled in the upper left-hand corner. Submission Information: An electronic copy shall reference the RFI subject USTRANSCOM TOPS Software Maintenance and shall be submitted to Bill Schleckser at william.schleckser@ustranscom.mil no later than 23 December 2010 by 3:30 PM CST. Hard copies shall be mailed to USTRANSCOM/TCAQ-D, 508 Scott Drive, Scott AFB, IL 62225-5015, Attn: Bill Schleckser. Responses received after that date may be evaluated at the Government’s discretion as time permits. RESPONSE REVIEW: Any information submitted with your responses that you do not consent to limited release must be clearly marked and submitted segregated from other response material. Response to this RFI, or lack thereof, does not constitute any obligation on the Government to pursue a follow-on effort, in part or whole, with specific vendors or otherwise.
