- The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement for laundry equipment at the VA Medical Center, Brockton, MA. The VA is seeking sources for a government acquisition to provide: Five (5) Ea. 130/150 Pound Washer Extractors; One (1) Ea. 30/50 Pound Washer Extractor; Four (4) Ea. 170/180 Pound Drying and Conditioning Tumblers; One (1) Ea. 70/80 Pound Drying and Conditioning Tumbler; One (1) Ea. Spreader Feeder Machine. Award(s) will be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Offer(s). This acquisition is RESTRICTED to small businesses. Solicitation documents and specifications will only be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) homepage located at https://www.fbo.gov/. Offerors are responsible for printing paper copies of the solicitation. Hard copies will not be available and no written or fax requests will be accepted. It is the contractors responsibility to monitor FBO for any amendments. Offers must be hand-carried or mailed to: National Acquisition Center (001AL-A2-3a), National Contracts Division, P.O. Box 76, Building 37, 1st Avenue, One block North of Cermak Rd, Hines, IL 60141, ATTN: Anthony Crumpton. All interested parties must be registered in VETS 100 per Title 38, USC, Section 4212(d), and with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in FAR 52.204-7. CCR can be obtained by accessing the internet http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423 or 269-961-5757. CCR must be obtained before award can be made. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date.
