Description
The US Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Contracting Center, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-3013 intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with Thermo Electron North America LLC, West Palm Beach, FL 33407-1976 for Maintenance/Repair of: TSQ-20000 TSQ Quantum system SRVYR-MPUMP Surveyor MS Pump SRVYR-AS Finnigan Surveyor Autosampler SRVYR-PDA5 Surveyor PDA Detector Essential support plan including Factory-certified replacement parts, software updates and notifications, and subscription to e-Support Online Technical Resources. Period of Performance is 1 Oct 09 - 30 Sept 10. Thermo Electron North America LLC is the manufacturer of this equipment and provides the necessary maintenance on their proprietary equipment and software. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 811219, and the size standard is $7.0 MIL. All responses received within seven (7) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 10:00 AM Eastern DST Time, Monday, December 21, 2009. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in this and future procurements. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
