Description

Wiley-Blackwell Titles Nature Publishing Group Titles Vendors list and information. Elsevier B.V. Titles EBSCO Titles Oxford Titles list The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), located on the National Naval Medical Campus in Bethesda, MD, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the vendors listed in the attached spreadsheet for the subscriptions listed. USUHS intends to negotiate purchase orders with a base period of twelve (12) months and up to four one year options. These orders are being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to include FAR Part 13.5-Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Sole source determination is made in accordance with: FAR Part 13.106-1 Soliciting Competition (b) Soliciting from a single source (1) For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The listed vendors are the publishers and sole providers to electronic access to the requested medical and academic subscriptions. Access to these subscriptions is required by faculty, students and researchers. The resultant awards will provide access to the requested publications to USUHS, Army Medical Research & Material Command (AMRMC), Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR), State Department and Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). See attached spreadsheet for contractors' information and descriptions of the requirements. This is not a request for quotes (RFQ) and a solicitation package will not be issued.
