- Please note that this is NOT a request for SF330's or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The VA Northern California Health Care System is conducting a market survey for well qualified small businesses (in the following socioeconomic categories: Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Hubzone Small Business, and Small Disadvantage Businesses (8(a)) capable of providing the required A/E services outlined below for the VA Medical Center located in Martinez, CA. Applicable NAICS code is 541310 size standard $4.5 million. All interested parties must have an established working office within 150 mile radius of Martinez CA, be of sufficient size and experience to accomplish the work, and be licensed in the State of California. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing by email and received no later than later than 12 PM Pacific Time January 4, 2010. No telephone inquires will be accepted. All responses to this notice must identify the social economic category of the respondent (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Hubzone Small Business, and Small Disadvantage Businesses (8(a)), name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. Description of work to be performed includes: The Architect / Engineer A/E firm shall prepare 100% complete construction drawings and specifications for Project 612-002, "Design-Consolidate and Expand Outpatient Mental Health". The project will include design work for the preparation of 100% complete working drawings and contract documents to consolidate and expand outpatient mental health at the VA Martinez Outpatient Clinic and Community Living Center, located at 150 Muir Road, Martinez CA 94553. The intent of this project is to conceptualize, design, and provide design support for a 16,050 SF new outpatient mental health and 7,240 SF renovated outpatient mental health unit. All work must meet the VA design guide criteria, specifically for mental health units. The design must also be LEED Silver Certified. The AE firm shall also provide Construction Period Services during the construction phase. Design Completion time of 150 calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing by email and received no later than 12 PM Pacific Time January 4, 2010. No telephone inquires will be accepted and no additional information regarding the scope of work is available at this time. All responses to this notice must identify the social economic category of the respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. Interested firms will be required to respond to additional announcements separately from this announcement without further notice from the Government when posted to http://www.fbo.gov.
