Description
The NAICS Code is 541330. Under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-07-G-5438, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), Port Hueneme, California, intends to issue a Cost Plus Fixed Fee Order on a sole source basis to BAE Systems Land & Armaments, L.P., Armaments Systems Division, Louisville, Kentucky 40214-2683. The contractor shall provide material and services required to receive, inventory, disassemble, repair, overhaul, upgrade, test, package and ship various components as specified in the Technical Instruction. Component Requirements: Recoil Cylinder, Part No. 6929635, 14 ea; Recuperator, Part No. 5517986. 5 ea; Compensator, Part No. 5517750, 10 ea; Transfer Tray, Part No. 5518092, 2 ea.; Control Cylinder, Part No. 5517883, 4 ea; Equilibrator Inner Cylinder, Part No. 5518189, 3 ea.Period of Performance: Fourteen (14) months after receipt of Government Furnished Material (GFM). BAE Systems Land & Armaments, L.P., ASD, is the only known company with the requisite technical qualifications and facilities to perform the work in the required timeframe. Only BAE has the necessary in-depth knowledge of Navy gun design, production, assembly, and testing techniques regarding these weapons, including the necessary special tooling and in-house capability to build, repair and maintain these guns.
