- NASA/NSSC has a requirement for a course entitled Incident and Injury-Free (IIF)Commitment Workshop. The objective of the training is to establish and nurture therequisite relationship to safety that serves as the foundation for creating an IIFculture, introduce the fundamental IIF distinctions and principles, work towardseliminating worker injury, as well as introduce and practice the IIF Critical SuccessFactors. This training will provide learners with a specialized training with focus onapplicability to NASA.The vendor shall be responsible for providing all trainingmaterials. The vendor shall conduct a series of four, two-day Incident and Injury-FreeWorkshops, each with up to 65 participants. Training sessions shall be held at NASAsMarshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL over the period from purchase order awardthrough June 30, 2010.NASA/NSSC intends to purchase the training course from JMJ Associates, LLP, 8310-1N,Capital of Texas Hwy, Suite 440, Austin, TX 78731. Pursuant to FAR 13.106, theacquisition of these services has been determined to be reasonably available from onlyone source. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon December 23, 2009. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for thepurpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, whichshall be considered by the agency.Capabilities and qualifications should be submitted to Megan Willis atMegan.M.Willis@nasa.gov.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
