- Data on UPS Batteries In response to questions the following information is provided: (1) How many preventive maintenance inspections are required per year? ANSWER: The number of inspections should be in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations. In the absence of manufacturer's recommendation, we expect two per year. (2) How many inspections are required in the nine-month base period? ANSWER: Your proposal should be based on number of inspections required in a 12 month period. (3) Do you have any data on the batteries? ANSWER: See attached file entitled "UPS BATTERIES."
