Description
Amendment 0001 Q. For geotechnical subsurface investigations, what kind of drilling rigs are preferred or required at minimum? What kind of soil sampling is needed? How many rigs are needed? A. The equipment should be suitable to access a developed or undeveloped site and perform soil borings in accord with ASTM D420 and to determine the seismic site classification in accord with the current International Building Code. Sampling is typical of geotechnical subsurface investigations. The number required of soil boring rigs will vary but access to sufficient equipment to meet the requirements stated in the solicitation must be addressed. Q. For laboratory testing, what kind of tests and equipment are required? How many sets of the equipments? A. Laboratory tests and equipment should be adequate to perform full service geotechnical, construction and construction materials testing. Q. For field testing, what kind of tests and equipment are required? How many sets of the equipments? A. Laboratory tests and equipment should be adequate to perform full service geotechnical, construction and construction materials testing. Q. How many personnel are required and what would be the nature of work for those personnel? (To prepare a Personnel Matrix) A. Personnel should be adequate to perform the workload described in the solicitation (in addition to any other company workload).
