Description
The U.S Army Contracting Command, Joint Munitions and Lethality Contracting Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 intends to award a contract for the servicing of two Hydro Corporation Hydro RO/DI Ultra Pure Water Systems for one year with options for three additional years. A Market Survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that must be able to service and maintain the equipment by meeting the following minimum performance features: 5 micron pre-filtration, chlorine removal through high flow carbon bed with timed backwash, anti-scalant feed to sequester calcium and magnesium ions, thin film composite reverse osmosis membranes with 99.5% rejection, output resistivity equal or greater than 15 mega ohms per cm, ultraviolet sterilizer on the permeate output for bacteria suppression, recycle loop with 94%+ water usage efficiency, pH adjustment module to maintain acidity between 5.5 and 6.5, and the equipment must be serviced in accordance with the equipment manufacturers requirements and any servicing activities must preserve the original equipment manufacturers warranty provisions and conditions. Offeror/respondees must provide certification that their servicing of the above equipment will preserve the original manufacturers warranty. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only, does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government. The Government implies no intention or opportunity to acquire funding to support current or future development efforts. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market survey. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this market survey. Interested parties are requested to provide the following information: your organization, name/address/point of contact, all pertinent information and documentation to reflect your compliance with the requirements stated above, and whether or not the company is a small or large business. All responding sources should submit their responses no later than 11 December 2009 to U.S. Army Attn: Ms. Charlotte Sylvain, Contract Specialist, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000.
