- Description
- The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), has a requirement for direct current multi-channel portable memory earth resistivity meter with memory storage of readings, and user defined measure cycles, to include cables, electrodes, and field transport cases. This equipment is needed to characterize the Alluvial sediment and bedrock contact along the Belle Fourche and Cheyenne Rivers in South Dakota. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, Firm Fixed Price type of contract. The equipment shall be delivered within 2 months after date of award. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available on the internet on or about December 14, 2009. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). A formal solicitation, statement of work, and technical exhibits are not available for release at this time. This requirement is being issued as A 100% small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334519 and size standard is $25.0 million. There is not an incumbent contractor. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Inclusion of unique provision required implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by successful offerors), will be required in any resultant contract.
