Location: Rural Business Cooperative Services Title: RECOVERY- Temporary Administrative Assistance Description(s): THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOS UNDER GSA SCHEDULE 736 5 for TEMP ADMIN SVCS Rural Development (RD) is issuing this competitive Request for Quotation (RFQ) to solicit GSA FABS contract holders for the purpose of entering into a Task Order under the successful firm’s Schedule contract. The awarded contract will be funded in whole under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The awardee shall comply with the reporting requirements mandated by FAR Subpart 4.15 and FAR clause 52.204-11, American Recovery and reinvestment Act- Reporting Requirements. By reference, FAR Clause 52.204-11, American Recovery and reinvestment Act-reporting requirements, is incorporated in its entirety into this RFQ. Rural Business Cooperative Services requires contract administrative assistance to commence immediately upon procurement. Performance is expected to require an average of 40 hours per week through September 30, 2010. The Contractor shall provide labor services that may include, but not be limited to the following: A. Preparing outgoing correspondence with attention to appropriate format and style. B. Receiving, reviewing and distributing incoming correspondence and materials. C. Maintaining complex filing systems—both physical and computerized or program documents. D. Answering phones and directing calls. E. The temporary service shall have knowledge that includes using a word processor and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. The temporary will be expected to dress appropriately for a professional office setting. These services are will be procured under the Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2008.
