- Please note that this is NOT a request for SF330's or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents.The Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center (RLR VAMC), Indianapolis, IN, is conducting a market survey for well qualified small businesses (in the following socioeconomic categories: Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8a, and/or Hub Zone) capable of providing the required A/E services outlined below for the VA Medical Center located in Danville, Illinois. Applicable NAICS code is 541310 size standard $4.5 million. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated construction cost of the resulting construction project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. All interested parties must have a working office that would provide the professional services within a 250 mile radius of Danville, Illinois. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than December 11th, 2009. No telephone inquires will be accepted. All responses to this notice must identify the social economic category of the respondent (Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8a, and/or Hub Zone), name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. Description of work to be performed includes: The Architect / Engineer A/E firm shall prepare 100% complete construction drawings and specifications for Project #550-10-103, "Endoscopy Suite Upgrades - Building 58". The project will include design work for the preparation of 100% complete working drawings and contract documents using VA Master Specifications to complete the required Endoscopy Suite Upgrades - Building 58 to include the following items: Redesign of the accessibility entrance into suites and adjacent spaces, Provide new common "clean" and "Dirty" paths, Complete renovation of suites to include but not limited to flooring, wall finish, ceiling systems, reception, and waiting areas. The AE firm shall also provide Construction Period Services during the construction phase. Design Completion time of 240 calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than December 11th, 2009. No telephone inquires will be accepted and no additional information regarding the scope of work is available at this time. All responses to this notice must identify the social economic category of the respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. Interested firms will be required to respond to additional announcements separately from this announcement without further notice from the Government when posted to http://www.fbo.gov.
