- THE SOLICITATION NUMBER FOR THIS CONTRACT HAS CHANGED TO: W9127N-10-R-0005 THE NEW RELEASE DATE FOR THIS SOLICITATION IS FRIDAY DECEMBER 4, 2009. IT WILL BE POSTED UNDER THE NEW SOLICTITATION NUMBER. THIS PROCUREMENT WILL BE OPEN TO LARGE AND SMALL BUSINESSES. The Northwest Division, Portland District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks up to three contractors for installation of new Government-furnished digital governor equipment to retrofit up to 145 existing governors for hydroelectric units at 21 powerhouses in the Northwest Region. The Government's objective is to award a IDIQ Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) with up to three awards resulting from this solicitation. This procurement is a total small business set aside. A Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) shall be provided for all new contracts with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District. For this project the person that will act as the SSHO is required to have a minimum of 3 years safety work with similar projects and a 30 Hour OSHA construction safety class, or equivalent, taken within the last 3 years. The SSHO may have other duties for this work that include being the Contractor on-site Project Manager and/or the on-site CQC Manager or other responsible individual. This solicitation has been delayed with a projected availability date on or about September 15, 2009. Procurement is open to small business concerns only. The Task Order Magnitude of Construction is between $100,000.00 and $3,000,000.00. The MATOC Magnitude of Construction is greater than $10,000,000.00.
