Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a sole-source firm fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-05-G-0026 with McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC) (A Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Company) of St. Louis, Missouri 63166, for the procurement of F/A-18 ECP-6320 LGCU Retrofit. ECP 6320 is for the procurement of 148 upgraded LGCUs, 265 new LGCUs, and an option to buy 1 upgraded -05 LGCU. ECP-6320 is the Landing Gear Control Unit (LGCU) - Retrofit Solution. Projected period of performance for the ECPs is 15 Octoberl 2009 through 30 November 2012. MDC is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the F/A-18E/F aircraft in its various configurations and is the only source with the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary to accomplish this effort. Any interested party must have the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary accomplish this effort within schedule requirements. Any respondent must also submit a Statement of Qualifications to demonstrate respondent’s ability to perform to the Government’s needs within the required response time.
