Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice and is being issued for market research purposes only. This is not a request for proposal. The intent of this notice is to identify qualified small business (SB) concerns, certified 8(a), HUB Zone, and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Responses to this notice are not considered as proposals and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Massachusetts National Guard will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties responding to this sources sought. There will not be a solicitation issued at this time. Interested parties responding to this sources sought request shall complete the Sources Sought Information Request Form included as an attachment to this document. The applicable NAICS code is 721199 All Other Traveler Accommodation, which has a size standard of $7 million. The requirement is for the acquisition of corporate housing rental services for the Community Based Warrior Transition Unit (CBWTU) Massachusetts. Should a solicitation be issued and a contract or agreement result from it, a firm fixed price instrument with a one year base and eight (8) six-month option periods is anticipated. The Contractor will provide fully furnished lodging accommodations on a rental basis for personnel temporarily assigned to CBWTU, providing 1 bedroom, single occupancy apartments with no penalty for early vacancy. The anticipated requirement is for 28 such units, although this quantity may fluctuate. All apartments should be located within a 10 mile radius of CBWTU- MA 696 Virginia Road, Concord MA 01742-2718. Apartments will have a minimum of 650 SF of total space, which includes a minimum of 250 SF private area and 400 SF of common area. Apartments shall meet all local, State, Federal, ANSI, and OSHA regulations, codes and standards that may apply. Rental units shall be structurally sound without health or safety hazards to residents. Units, furnishings, and any other provided items shall be free of insects and rodent infestations. Routine maintenance and repairs shall be the responsibility of the corporate housing provider. The response to this Sources Sought notice is due by 1:00p.m., Thursday, 17 December 2009.
