The Rock Island Contracting Center (RICC) has a requirement for a contractor to provide Main Parachute Supports, NSN: 132001X993961, per drawing 9213764 Rev L dated Apr 2001, and Drogue Parachute Supports, NSN: 132001X993963, per drawing 9214152 Rev J dated 20 May 2009. First Article may or may not be required. End Item 155MM Projectile ILLUM, M485. RICC intends to issue Request for Proposal, W52P1J-10-R-0043 to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Website, https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ on or about December 18, 2009 with an opening 30 days from issuance. The applicable NAICS code is 332999 with a size standard for small business of 500 employees. This procurement will be a firm fixed price, competitive, Small Business Set Aside. It will be a one year base quantity of 99,745 each Main Parachute Supports and 51,089 Drogue Parachute Supports plus 100% option quantity. FOB: Destination to Pine Bluff Arsenal, Pine Bluff, AR. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DoD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DoD Contract. The Internet site for registering in the CCR is http://www.ccr.gov/. You may also contact the CCR Registration Assistance Center at 1-888-227-2423, customer service, and request the registration form and assistance packet for completion. All offerors are also to submit representations and certifications electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors shall complete an Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Interested firms are invited to submit proposals after this solicitation is posted to the web. Amendment applicable to this solicitation will also be posted to the web. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to check these websites for the issuance and any changes to the solicitation. No hard copies are available.
