Description: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a request for proposal. This market research is being conducted to determine the availability and adequacy of potential small business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition for the Multiple Award Task Order Construction (MATOC) Contract for the Northern Rockies Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO) including the states of Montana, Wyoming and Utah. This will be a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for a Base plus 4 Option Years Contract. Up to five (5) IDIQ contracts could be awarded to compete for each new task order requirement. Typical task orders will consist of providing all plant, labor, tools, parts, equipment, materials, supervision and transportation necessary to provide design build or design bid build services for both renovations/alterations and new construction with emphasis on a broad range of maintenance, repair, and construction work of real property. Significant sub-contracting opportunities can be expected to include a variety of trades including roofing, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roadwork, paving, painting, masonry, and fencing. The NAICS for this acquisition is 236220, with a size standard of $33.5M. Maximum task order amount issued under this MATOC will be $1.5M. If this is a service your business can provide, respond to this Sources Sought by December 15, 2009, 2:00 PM (MST). Late responses will not be accepted. Responses should include the following: (1) Company Name and Address; (2) Point of Contact -Name and Telephone #; (3) DUNS # ; (4) Type of business i.e., 8A, HUBZone, Women-Owned, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, etc (no large businesses); and (5) Verify company's ability to provide bonding up to maximum task order amount. Sources Sought is issued for market research purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10. No solicitation is being issued at this time. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Synopsis.
