- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. The purpose of this Special Notice is to announce NSWC Crane's intentions to host an Industry Day for the purpose of conducting one-on-one meetings with industry in regards to Request for Information (RFI) N00164-10-S-NB04 Production and Sustainment of the Ground Based Operational Surveillance System (G-BOSS). DATE(S): 15 / 16 / 17 December 2009 TIME: (SEE INSTRUCTIONS) LOCATION: NSWC Crane, 300 Hwy 361, Crane, IN 47522 ADMINISTRATIVE POC: Mr. David ViragNSWC Crane Division, Code JXTLEmail: david.virag@navy.mil INSTRUCTIONS Interested parties should submit an email request to David Virag, david.virag@navy.mil no later than 3pm EST, December 9, 2009. Parties are limited to no more than three (3) representatives per company. Attendees shall be U.S. citizens and must provide identification at the NSWC Crane Visitor Center to be granted access to the base. Email requests should include the following: - Names of all individuals attending (limit 3)- City, State of residence of each attendee - Company POC info: name, phone number, and e-mail address- 1st and 2nd preference for date of attendance and also specify morning versus afternoon session. Prompt requests are encouraged in order to accommodate your preferred schedule. Cleared parties will receive email confirmation NLT COB 11 December 2009 which will include the specific date, time, building location, and any special instructions. ONLY cleared parties will be granted access on Industry Day. Attendees should be prepared to answer technical questions and respond to other questions relating to standard industry practices in a one-on-one forum with DoD representatives.
