Description
High Level Requirement for TPD System and Ancillary Services Sources Sought Notice – Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) The Government is conducting market research to determine the commercial capabilities that exist to meet the attached high-level requirements. This notice is not intended to solicit offers, nor will the Government be obligated reimburse the costs of responding to this notice, nor make an award based upon the responses received to this notice. Responses are to be submitted electronically to Ms. Terri Smith at Terri.Smith@ed.gov and Mr. Brad Bumgarner at Bradley.Bumgarner@ed.gov by December 21, 2009 at 11:00AM EST. Responses shall include the following: · a description of how your organization intends to meet the high-level requirements identified in the attached document, including whether the system that will be utilized to provide this service is owned (your organization has the right to sell or license for use the system) or licensed (your organization has the right to use the system in accordance with the terms and conditions of its license) by the respondent; · a description of comparable work your organization currently performs, including the average monthly volume of transactions processed and the maximum volume of transactions that could be processed in a month; · a description of whether the proposed solution is currently capable of or could be easily modified to handle other types of processes that are work-flow driven; · identification of your organization’s size (e.g. small business, small disadvantaged business, etc.); · statement indicating whether your organization is on the GSA Schedules or some other Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC); and · an estimated monthly price per borrower for processing (new applicants) and or servicing (existing applicants).
