Description
The United States Office of Personnel Management (OPM) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a paper document imaging and related services under the Retirement Systems Modernization (RSM) initiative. The resulting performance-based contract will enable continued document retrieval and imaging services for loose documents and non-retirement case related documents as required for active Federal employees, separated employees who have been imaged and additional imaging for previously separated Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS), Federal Employee Retirement System (FERS) employees and newly separated employees. The desire solution covers a range of services to include the following: •Document Retrieval and Tracking •Document Transport and Preparation •Document Imaging Implementation •Document Imaging Operations (including Indexing and Storage) •Document Destruction •Image delivery to Enterprise Human Resources Integration (EHRI) warehouse •Additional Document Imaging The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 518210 (Data Processing, Hosting, and Related Services). OPM intends to award a Firm, fixed-price contract for this acquisition. OPM anticipates releasing this solicitation on or about December 17, 2009, and proposals will be due approximately thirty (30) days after that date. Parties interested in obtaining a copy of the solicitation may download a copy from www.fbo.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring www.fbo.gov for the release of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments. Contractors are encouraged to sign-up on the fbo.gov website, for email notification of all actions relevant to this solicitation. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. NO QUESTIONS WILL BE ENTERTAINED AT THIS TIME. Once the solicitation is released, offerors will be given an opportunity to ask questions and answers will be posted to www.fbo.gov. Award of this requirement is anticipated by February 8, 2010.
