- The VA Stars & Stripes Healthcare Network (VISN 4) is soliciting quotations for the purchase of and delivery of rock salt to various VISN 4 VAMC's in Altoona, PA, Butler, PA, Coatesville, PA, Erie PA, Lebanon, PA, Philadelphia, PA, Pittsburgh, PA (3 separate locations) Wilkes-Barre, PA, VAM&ROC, and Wilmington, DE. The contractor will furnish all labor, material and transportation necessary to provide Rock salt delivery services. The period of performance shall be from contract award through September 30, 2010 with 4 one year option renewals. The NAICS code is 424690. The solicitation will be available on or about 10/09/2009. Offerors are due to the Contracting Officer by 2:00 pm on October 28, 2009. This acquisition is set aside 100% Small Business Set Aside. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice.
