Description
THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THE U.S. FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE HAS A REQUIREMENT TO FUEL TWO (2) EACH 100LL AVIATION FUEL TANKS VIA AIRPLANE WITH A LARGE FUEL CAPACITYAND PUMPING EQUIPMENT TO PUT ON AUTO FILL UP A 2,000 GAL TANK AT ARCTIC VILLAGE, ALASKA AND A 4,000 GAL TANK AT BARTER ISLAND, ALASKA BETWEEN 12/15/2009 AND 12/31/2011. REQUEST FOR QUOTE ON A CURRENT SNAPSHOT DELIVERED PRICE PER GALLON WITH DATE QUOTED IS BEING SOLICITED. THIS ACQUISITION AND THE INCORPORATED PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES ARE THOSE IN EFFECT THROUGH FEDERAL ACQUISITION CIRCULAR 2005-32. THE FOLLOWING PROVISIONS 52.212-1, INSTRUCTION TO OFFERORS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS AND 52.212-2, EVALUATION-COMMERCIAL ITEMS APPLY TO THIS ACQUISITION. STATEMENTS OF WORK ARE AS FOLLOWS: Title: Av- gas to be delivered to Arctic Village, Alaska Location: Arctic Village, Alaska Background/History: The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge has a 2500 gallon Av-gas fuel tank located at the north end of the runway at Arctic Village. Arctic Village is located on the southern boundary of the refuge. This location is one of three sites the refuge has fuel tanks located at. Access to the refuge is primarily by refuge aircraft and these tanks are used for the refueling of refuge aircraft. Scope: The Arctic refuge needs the contractor to provide the fuel and delivery of 100LL av-gas to Arctic Village. The fuel will be transferred from the aircraft to the fuel tank using transfer pumps, hoses with camlock fittings common to all remote fuel deliveries in bush Alaska. Deliverables: The Arctic refuge needs to have 2500 gallons of 100 LL av-gas delivered to the Fish and Wildlife fuel tank at Arctic Village. Schedule: The Arctic refuge needs to have the fuel delivered on site beginning on 12/15/09, and no later than 12/30/09 Furnished equipment: The Arctic refuge will have a fuel tank on site at Arctic Village. Kaktovik is located on the northern boundary of the refuge. This location is one of three sites the refuge has fuel tanks located at. Access to the refuge is primarily by refuge aircraft and these tanks are used for the refueling of refuge aircraft. Scope: The Arctic refuge needs the contractor to provide the fuel and delivery of 100LL av-gas to Kaktovik.
