- The U.S. Army, Army Contracting Command (ACC) Joint Munitions and Lethality(JM&L) Contracting Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of Benet Laboratories, Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet, NY 12189-4000 is conducting market research to locate companies interested in entering into a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the U.S. Government. Interested sources should be capable of providing the U.S. Government with pressure, strain and acceleration transducers with the following capabilities: Pressure gages-charge and voltage type. Pressures range from atmospheric to 150 ksi. Both static and dynamic pressure measurements are needed. Dynamic measurements may need response time below 5 micro-seconds. Associated hardware/supplies for mounting and taking data. Strain gage types of full, quarter and half bridge; 250 and 350 ohm resistance, single gage, multi-gage strips, bi-directional and rosette. The ability to mount on various surfaces including but not limited to steel, aluminum and composite, coating and procedures for immersion in various liquids, temperature compensation, associated hardware/supplies for mounting and taking data. Accelerometers- charge and volt type. Single axis and multi axis. Acceleration ranges +/-2g to +/-150000g. Frequency response up to 20 KHz. Resonant frequencies up to 1000 KHz. Ability to withstand gun fire shock for high g accelerometers. Associated hardware/supplies for mounting and taking data. Companies are invited to indicate their interests and capabilities by providing specifications, brochures, information pertaining to experience on previous projects, specific work previously performed or being performed, and any other specific and pertinent information as it pertains to this particular are of procurement that would enhance our evaluation of the information submitted. All information is to be submitted via email at no cost or obligation to the Government; information provided will not be returned. Responses shall also indicate the size of the business entity; large or small IAW FAR 19.102, and a copy of the most recent ORCA certifications. Interested companies are encouraged to submit their capabilities/qualifications data no LATER than December 17, 2009. This is a Sources Sought/Market Survey Announcement and submission will be used for informational and planning purposes only. This notice does not constitute a formal Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFQ), nor is the government obligated to issue the RFP/RFQ. In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey.
