Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36 including amendments effective September 10,2009. This solicitation document number is RFQ-10-0112.This requirement is a 100% Small Businesses set-aside under NAICS code 611420. Only qualified offerors may submit a response. I. REQUIREMENT: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has a requirement for three (3) Oracle Certified Training courses. Each course must accommodate a maximum of 16 students per course and be held at a training facility in Reston, Virginia. The required courses are as follows: D49193GC20R - Oracle General Ledger Management Fundamentals - POP: 2/8/2010-2/12/2010 D492944GC20 - Oracle Financial Application Overview - POP: 1/11/2010-1/15/2010 D492944GC20 - Oracle Financial Application Overview - POP: 2/1/2010-2/5/2010 II. QUESTIONS DEADLINE: All questions are to be submitted either via email to the Contract Specialist, Raina Baker at Raina.Baker@bep.gov or via fax at 202-874-2200 no later than 9:00 a.m. EST December 7, 2009. III. DUE DATE: Responses to this solicitation shall be submitted to the attention of the Contract Specialist listed herein no later than 9:00 A.M. EST December 11, 2009 via e-mail at Raina.Baker@bep.gov or via fax at (202)-874-2200. IV. EVALUATION & AWARD: The Government will award a firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and offers best valve for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) Technical Capability (2) Past Performance (3) Price Technical and Past performance, when combined, are more important when compared to price. Interested vendors are encouraged to respond to the Contracting Specialist with a proposal specified in the solicitation. Solicitation telephone requests will not be honored. The BEP reserves the right to award to other than the lowest offer and to award without discussion. V.
