- PWS This is not a Request for Information. The 61st Contracting Squadron has a requirement for a Request for Information of interested vendors for services for operation and maintenance of the Base Telecommunications System (BTS) at Los Angeles AFB, CA. The proposed procurement will contain a base year and four option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAIC) code is 517110. This performance based service specification to provide for monthly Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services in support of the BTS and infrastructure (and Switchboard Operations if required). Work under this PWS may be performed at Air Force, Department of Defense (DoD), or other Federal Agencies, CONUS or OPCONUS. Use of this PWS can apply to maintenance and recurring support services, or any portion thereof. The BTS consists of the base switching system, the fiber optic or copper distribution systems on premise and all associated equipment. Contractor furnished services are to be provided in accordance with (IAW) the Government stated needs. The service level provides for and requires the Contractor to furnish commercial grade operating and maintenance support services that recur on a monthly basis. These basic monthly services (BMS) are standard support services necessary to operate and maintain the base communications witching and distribution systems IAW. These services establish the maintenance baseline for performance of monthly services required by the Government. These services shall be performed by the Contractor at a fixed monthly maintenance fee as stated within the contract. The proposed contract is for a base period of 12 months with four one-year options. The BTS consists of the base switching system, the fiber optic or copper distribution systems on premise and all associated equipment. Contractor shall determine the method and manner of performance required to properly perform BTS maintenance or systems operation. Los Angeles AFB estimated time of award 30 Jun 2010.
