Description

THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDERThe contractor shall be responsible for the furnishing and installation for upgrade and/or replacement of the existing HVAC equipment, air supply, distribution and controls at the East Orange, NJ campus, 9th Floor Cardiac Catheterization Suite. The contract is for the replacement HVAC unit to be located in a portion of the adjacent laboratory space (Room 9-163). Furnish and install steam to hot water heat exchanger with associated pump package along with associated glycol piping distribution systems. Replace / revise the existing supply, return, and intake and exhaust air systems. Replace existing diffusers and grilles, and balance air volumes. Provide for proper maintenance and accessibility for various components and systems. Conversion of the existing lab located in 9-163 to a mechanical space for the new HVAC equipment, shall include plumbing, sprinkler and electrical modifications, A/C associated equipment such as humidification and ducted reheat coil. Furnish and install associated outdoor condensing unit. Provide all associated sprinkler electrical and plumbing work. The Contractor shall examine all existing conditions before submitting bids.
