- This is a Sources Sought Notice and is being issued for market research purposes only. This is not a request for proposal. The intent of this notice is to identify qualified small business (SB) concerns, certified 8(a), HUB Zone, and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Responses to this notice are not considered as proposals and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Massachusetts National Guard will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties responding to this sources sought. There will not be a solicitation issued at this time. The Camp Edwards Training Site for Massachusetts has a requirement for: QTY: 43; 16X32 Aluminum Framework structure with equal to or better than Vinyl Soft Sided Shelter or Ferrari PVC Fabric membrane tan in color, Fluorescent Lighting System, 2-personnel doors, high density polypropylene plastic flooring system, 5-Ton HVAC unit w/ heating Strip QTY: 9; 16X76 Aluminum Framework structure with equal to or better than Vinyl Soft Sided Shelter or Ferrari PVC Fabric membrane tan in color, Fluorescent Lighting System, 2-personnel doors, high density polypropylene plastic flooring system, 10-Ton HVAC unit w/ heating Strip QTY: 1; 33X148 Aluminum Framework structure with equal to or better than Vinyl Soft Sided Shelter or Ferrari PVC Fabric membrane tan in color, metal halide Lighting System, 3 double door, 1 personnel door, non-skid plastic flooring, HVAC Climate control with a 20X40 attached Aluminum Framework with Vinyl Soft Sided Shelter or Ferrari PVC Fabric membrane, metal halide Lighting System, 1 double door, non-skid plastic flooring, HVAC Climate control QTY: 2; 32X40 Aluminum Framework structure with equal to or better than Vinyl Soft Sided Shelter or Ferrari PVC Fabric membrane tan in color, metal halide Lighting System, 2 double door, non-skid plastic flooring, HVAC Climate control Expected Date of Delivery: Contractor to provide equipment, delivery and installation by 15 March 2010 Warranty: Camp Edwards requests at least a 10 year warranty on the Aluminum Framework and at least a 5 year warranty on the Vinyl Soft Sided Shelter or Ferrari PVC Fabric membrane or equivalent Quality Inspection: Proposal should include a bi-annual visit pricing to Camp Edwards Training Site for an inspection of each of the items purchased for routine maintenance checks and warranty certification. The applicable NAICS code is 314912 Canvas and Related Product Mills which has a size standard of 500 employees. The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Price. Interested parties responding to this sources sought request shall submit the following information at a minimum: 1.Company name and address, point of contact with phone number, DUNS number and Cage Code; 2.A positive statement of interest that meets all the requirements listed above; 3.Documentation relating to capability of performance on Government contracts and proof of product performance in similar environment to Camp Edwards and how the products are being maintained; 4.Company size: SB, HUB Zone, 8(a), SDVOSB; 5.Any other pertinent company documentation, such as teaming/joint-venture agreements, etc. The response to this Sources Sought notice is due by 1:00p.m., Monday, 7 December 2009.
