Description

Justification for Other than Full and Open CompetitionDepartment of Veterans Affairs Medical Center The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 7, Charleston SC intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302.1, with Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) to provide data needed to the Center for Disease Prevention and Health Intervention for Diverse Populations. MUSC Department of Biostatistics & Epidemiology will assist Health Services Research & Development Center Project Investigators with developing and writing health services grant submissions, analyses of large VA data sets, and design and planning of VA funded studies. This notice of intent is not a REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties may identify their experience in providing this equipment to the Contracting Officer via e-mail or fax 478-274-5866. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received not later than 1:00 PM CST on 12/7/2009, E-mail: James.Rose3@va.gov Cost associated with the preparation and submission of information and/or any follow-up information request are the responsibility of the vendor and these costs will not be reimbursed by the Government.
