- This pre-solicitation notice is for Direct Procurement Method Household Goods services (Schedule II), Fort Dix, NJ. The award will be a fixed price requirements contract with a base period and four 12-month option periods. The target start date is 15 Jan 10. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services, and materials, except as specified as Government-furnished, for the preparation of personal property of military members and civilian employees for Direct Procurement Method movement, and related services, of household goods. Specific tasks may include weighing; preparation, packaging, loading, and containerization; tagging, inventorying, and packing list; appliance servicing and unservicing; containers and vehicles; marking exterior shipping containers; storage services; unpacking/unloading and loss and damage reports. This acquisition is 100% set aside for HubZone small businesses. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 484210, size standard of $25.5 Million. Prospective Contractors must be a HubZone Small Business, as verified on Central Contractor Register (CCR) and Online Representations & Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation will be posted on or about 8 Dec 2009 via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The due date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-37. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Internet site, www.ccr.gov, under the appropriate small business category and NAICS.
