- This solicitation is for commercial item services. The work consists of planting seedlings with shovels on approximately 136 acres of initial planting, 15,000 seedlings of under planting, and installing 11,000 plastic mesh tubes on western red cedar. Project areas are located on the Upper Willamette and Siuslaw Resource Areas of the Eugene BLM District in Lane and Linn County, Oregon. Estimated Start Work date is February 1, 2010. This solicitation allows for increased quantities not to exceed thirty percent (30%) of the original contract price. Bonds are not required; liability insurance is required after award. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.FedConnect.net. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is on or after December 7, 2009. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns.
