- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to award a six month extension to contract N68936-04-D-0027 on an other then full and open competition basis for Contractor Maintenance Services (CMS) for the purpose of informing, instructing and training Navy, Marine Corps and Civilian personnel of the Department of Defense in the installation, operation and maintenance of the Powerplant systems (F402 Engine) installed on the AV-8B aircraft; systems include: auxiliary power systems, turbofan engines, powerplant installation, fuel systems, and associated support equipment. This requirement will be procured on a sole source basis from ROLLS-ROYCE NORTH AMERICA HOLDINGS INC.14850 CONFERENCE CENTER D, CHANTILLY VA 20151-3805 due to the unique capability of Rolls Royce being the only source with the requisite data and experience to perform the tasks required. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency but statements must be received at the Contracting Office no later then 15 Days after the date of publication of this notice.
