Description
The U.S. Army, Army Contracting Command (ACC) Joint Munitions & Lethality(JM&L) Contracting Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of the U.S. Army Armament Research Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) is conducting market research to locate capable firms to provide the U.S. Government with a wide range of equipment repair/installation, instrumentation upgrades, facility maintenance, construction trades/repair and renovation, manufacturing and safety enhancements to support Picatinny Arsenal R&D developmental projects, production programs and theatre requirements. It is critical that the specialty machine tool processes are kept fully functional and to maintain schedules, it is vital that repair and services be provided expeditiously. Typical machinery may include, but is not limited to: CNC milling centers, CNC Turning Centers Abrasive Waterjet Machines, CO2 laser, Metal Bending equipment, Industrial Air Compressors, Conventional Machine tools and grinders, and Coordinate Measuring Machines. ARDEC-Picatinny intends to satisfy this requirement by awarding one or multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) with a period of performance of five (5) years. Firms/companies are invited to indicate their interests and capabilities by providing specifications, brochures, manuals, reports, information pertaining to experience on previous projects, specific work previously performed or being performed, any in-house research and development effort, and any other specific and pertinent information as pertains to this particular area of procurement that would enhance our consideration and evaluation of the information submitted. All information is to be submitted via email (10MB limit) at no cost or obligation to the Government; information provided will not be returned. Responses shall also indicate the size of the business entity; large or small and a copy of the most recent ORCA certifications. Please provide the name of your firm, address, POC, phone/fax number, and email address. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Government will accept written questions by email. Interested firms/companies are encouraged to submit their capabilities/qualification data NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 14, 2009. This is a Sources Sought/Market Survey Announcement and submissions will be used for informational and planning purposes only. This notice does not constitute a formal Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFP), nor is the Government obligated to issue an RFP/RFQ. In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey.
