Description

Recovery - Replacement of Interior Fluorescent Light Fixtures - TAS: 14-1610 2009/2010 FFS Project # R5PX. The Northeast Region of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is extending a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for a firm fixed price contract for construction services at the White River National Fish Hatchery, located in the Town of Bethel, County of Windsor, VT, under the provisions of FAR Part 15, "Contracting By Negotiation". This action is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE executed in accordance with FAR Part 19. The contractor will provide all labor, equipment and materials to replace these light fixtures. The major items of work include the purchase and installation of light fixtures with dimming ballasts and the replacement of existing dimmer switches, in accordance with the provided technical specifications and drawings. The magnitude of this work is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS code corresponding to this work is 238210, with a small business standard of $14 million annually. The Davis Bacon wage rates will apply to this contract. This station is located in Windsor County, VT. The solicitation, technical specifications and drawings will be posted on or around 12/18/2009 and quotes will be due by 2:00pm on 1/18/2009. No telephone requests will be accepted. A Payment Bonds at 100% or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit in lieu of the Payment Bond is required A business must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov, and must have completed Online Representations and Certifications (ORAC) at www.bpn.gov, to be eligible for award. A site visit may be arranged by contacting the White River National Fish Hatchery Manager at (802) 234-5400. The Hatchery is located at 2086 River Street, Bethel, VT.
