Description
Web interactive Program This solicitation is set aside for small business. The American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) honors the service, sacrifice and achievements of U.S. armed forces to fulfill the promise that “time will not dim the glory of their deeds.” Increasingly this mission includes an educational component. ABMC will make many of its interpretive materials Web accessible through the Commission Web site at www.abmc.gov. Such materials will be useful to prospective visitors planning a trip, visitors and staff on site, former visitors putting what they have seen and learned into context, educators and students, and citizens interested in military heritage. They will further the Commission’s mission and message, particularly among younger generations and those not able to visit an ABMC cemetery or monument. Among these educational initiatives will be World War I and World War II Timeline Interactive Programs that explain the campaigns wherein the war dead honored within ABMC cemeteries fell and place the cemeteries and events into their proper historical context. Objective: To provide separate and distinct Web interactive programs that chronicle the timelines of the First and Second World Wars and establish the context of the major campaigns of the world wars; and to provide separate and distinct Web interactive programs that explain those campaigns. These interactive programs will be accessible through the ABMC Web site at www.abmc.gov, and eventually will be available on-site in visitor buildings at the overseas cemeteries maintained by the Commission. Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted to Mike Jensen via email no later than December 14, 2009. mike.jensen@psc.hhs.gov Proposals shall be sent to Mike Jensen electronically via email to mike.jensen@psc.hhs.gov Proposals received after the due date and time will not be accepted. The period of performance is for a base period of 24 months from date of award plus 3 one year option periods.
