- Richard Sturzebecher, electronic engineer, 732 532 9887 The JTT Program plans to enter into an agreement for spares production (Fleet Line Replaceable Unit [LRU]/Shop Replaceable Unit [SRU] production) for 492 fielded systems, and include contractor depot repair service. Solicitation for an IDIQ contract bid shall be issued about October 11, 2010. The U.S. Government (USG) will have detailed component drawings to upgrade lower indentured subsystems, and can supply input-output data for the lower upgraded subsystems. Detailed design drawings will be purchased. Production must meet ISO 9000 and 9001 standards. The successful bidding contractor will be responsible for all services, like maintaining parts availability by mitigating diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages issues. The parts involved are listed below for AN/USC-62A(V)1(C) through AN/USC-62A(V)3(C), JTT-SR-A. See attached for equipment list. All interested parties who want to be considered for this request for production and field sustainment support should submit a white paper no greater than 10 pages in length and include at a minimum the following information, to be provided in Microsoft Word, Text, Rich Text, or Adobe Acrobat file formats only: 1) Provide evidence of level for encryption security classification for facilities in production, testing, installation, repair and calibration support. 2) Evidence of past performance on similar projects with this type of design, production and support. 3) Provide evidence of experience with a similar total-systems support approach. Partial support for selected items from the list will not be accepted. This response must address support of all equipment. 4) The contractor must show knowledge of the JTT system and past history in similar systems with CCA development, testing, repair and field support. Evidence of interest in this solicitation should be emailed to Richard.sturzebecher@us.army.mil. To be considered as an interested contractor, the above documentation should be provided no later than 30 Jan 2010.
