We are specifically seeking information on systems that satisfy the definition of "domestic construction material" as set forth in FAR Clause 52.225-9, Buy American Act - Construction Material. The equipment shall have the following features and characteristics: 1. Completely self-contained desiccant dehumidification air conditioning unit designed for and capable of conditioning 100% outdoor air. Equipment contains all necessary components including minimum 30% ASHRAE rated filters, media, reheat units, housing and fans to move the air from the outdoors to the return connections of indoor located air handling units to ceiling grilles. Supply air ductwork from the unit to the indoors is not part of the unit. 2. Capable of conditioning a maximum 3000 CFM of outside air at an entering outdoor air condition of 94 degrees F db / 79 degrees F wb and supplying it at a maximum 82 degrees F db / 68 degrees F wb. 3. The equipment shall be provided with the necessary built-in self modulating controls to maintain constant design leaving air conditions at all times including during the winter design outdoor air temperature of 36 degrees F without freezing. 4.Equipment shall be constructed for operation in a seacoast environment. All surfaces shall be non-corrosive with all exposed hardware constructed of stainless steel. All coils and fans (inside and outside) shall be factory (not field) coated with the manufacturer’s standard anti-salt air corrosive coating 5. Built-in control panel shall have field adjustable controls to manually adjust leaving air conditions. 6. The minimum circuit ampacity of the equipment shall not exceed 50 AMPS under any operating mode. 7. Available electrical service is 460/3/60. 8. Electrical power connection to the unit shall be single point. 9. Natural gas is NOT available at the project site. Respondents shall submit their respective product literature for evaluating compliance with these requirements to: United States Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit Miami 15608 SW 117 Avenue Miami, Florida 33177-1630 Attn:Orlando Arana, PE. orlando.arana@uscg.mil Product literature shall be submitted for review within the advertisement period specified herein and in sufficient detail to describe each of the characteristics and features listed above.
