- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Forr Carson intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract for lodging, conference services, and meals at a resort location in the Keystone, Colorado area or similar distance from FCCO. This announcement is a Request for Quote only and does not constitute a contract. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 721110. Quotes must be received by 10:30AM, 2 December 2009. Quotes received after this time shall not be considered. The Government intends to evaluate offers and make award without discussions; however, this does not preclude the Government from having discussions if it is in the best interest of the Government to do so. To be eligible for an award, contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. STATEMENT OF WORK 3-16 Field Artillery Marriage Retreat 1.3-16 Field Artillery Regiment requests an off-site training location for a Marriage Retreat in the Keystone, CO area or similar distance from FCCO. 2.The period of performance for this retreat is 11-13 December 2009. 3.The contractor shall provide lodging (17 rooms) for two nights; a meeting space which includes the following: snacks/beverages for training session breaks; breakfasts, lunches, and dinners (meal times will be coordinated upon award of the purchase order); tables/chairs for training session rooms; Audio/Visual equipment (podium, screen, projector and a microphone unit will provide their own computer) to support training sessions; and staff to service the retreat including clean-up. a.Rooms for 32 people (15 rooms with two people per room, 2 rooms with one person per room for two nights (11-12 Dec 09 check out on 13 Dec 09). b.Food for 32 people for three days. (No breakfast on day 1, no lunch on days 1&3 and no dinner on day 3). 4.The contractor shall perform the following tasks: i.Make certain that the room is clean prior to event. ii.Place snacks, drinks and coffee arranged in the back of the training session room for easy access and availability for the participants. Refreshments shall be provided twice daily. Provide napkins, silverware, cups and all other necessities. iii.Provide staff necessary to assist with the set up of the room, the placing of the snacks and drinks and also to assist the serving of the meals as well as the clean- up for all meals. 5.Hours of Operation: These services shall be provided by the contractor from 1700 on 11December 2009 until 1130 on 13 December 2009.
