- This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 01 Dec 09. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The intent of this procurement is to award based on Sole Source requirement. The 37th Contracting Squadron is intending to award a sole-source purchase order to SWANK Motion Pictures Inc. comprehensive online staff education program includes CEU/CME, TJC Regulatory Annual Training, Learning Management System, Tracking Database for a period of 01 Dec 2009 - 30 Nov 2010. Swank will provide a three part series on Regulatory Training titled "Safety Storm" for clinical and non-clinical staff to help meet the annual training requirement. Courses are provided online for access Facility or any location with Internet access. The courses are updated annually and may be supplemented with Facility's unique content and procedures via the site specific training portion of the Swank training accredited Health.edu Continuing Education (CE) courses and Physician Medical Education (CME) courses that are required to maintain state licensure. Courses are offered for 15 disciplines (Professions): Administration, Clinical Laboratory Science, Dietetics, EMS, Medical Records, Nurse Aide/Assistant, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Physician, Radiology Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Social Work and Support Staff. All accredited courses provide a minimum of one contact hour or more of credit and are available for a minimum of two years from the date released online. Facility has complete access to the usage data accumulated on the Swank website, and participants may access their personal transcripts. Swank will provide training to the Site Coordinator and/or Site Delegates on the website functionality, in addition to delivering marketing support to promote the program and providing live customer support for all calls from participants.
