Description
NATIONAL VETERANS' TRAINING INSTITUTE (NVTI) DRAFT STATEMENT OF WORK THIS IS A SOURCES SOUCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 10.002(b)(2)(i) this notice is issued for the purpose of market research. This request is for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a Solicitation or an indication the Government will contract for the items contained in this notice. This notice is not to be construed as an acquisition Request For Proposal (RFP), nor is any commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract implied, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. The Government shall not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this notice. Any response received will not be used as a proposal. The US Dept of Labor seeks to identify potential small business sources capable of providing services as identified in the attached DRAFT Statement of Work to develop, modify and present comprehensive training courses for the National Veteran’s Employment and Training Service Institute (NVTI). Course participants include the U.S. Department of Labor Veteran’s Employment and Training Service personnel, and VETS-funded State Workforce Agency personnel under the Disabled Veteran’s Outreach Program (DVOP) and the Local Veterans’ Employment Representative (LVER) Program. Small business vendors capable of and interested in providing the services as described in the attached draft statement of work are requested to provide a description of their capabilities to the contract specialist. Responses shall include a clear description of the vendor's experience in the following: (1) Developing and updating course materials and curricula. (2) Experience in utilizing and developing online training, modalities, webcasts, podcasts and other web-based training resources. (3) Ability to provide more than 100 training sessions annually. (4) Ability to coordinate lodging for course participants (including those with disabilities) at or near the training location. Responses will be reviewed to determine if the vendor is capable of performing the requirement based on the aforementioned criteria. Any proprietary information submitted should be marked. Also include: Company name, address, email address, telephone number, point of contact, DUNS number, and size relative to NAICS code 611710 Educational Support Services. Identify all socio-economic categories into which your company fits. Interested vendors must provide their response via email with the subject line reading "NVTI Announcement DOL01SS" to the contract negotiator by 11:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, December 15, 2009. This information is being gathered to determine supplier capabilities to fully meet the Government's stated requirements. All communication regarding this Request for Information (RFI), including submissions should be provided in writing and submitted to the Contract Negotiator via email at spillman.linda@dol.gov. Telephone calls, Fax questions or comments will not be accepted, and a response shall not be provided.
