Description
CLIN 0001 Five day certification to further develop the brigades Fire Support capabilities. The training will be conducted at Ft. Carson, Co. and the purpose of this training is to train all deploying personnel involved in reviewing and approving targets that require Collateral Damage Estimating (CDE) approval. The contractor will provide classroom training, training schedule for training classes, all briefing materials for classroom training, to include handouts and presentations. Decisive Management Professionals Interational is the only civilian organization approved by USJFCOM JTS to provide the Joint Collateral Damage Estimation (CDE) Training and Certification Program in accordance with CJCSI 3160.01 No-Strike And The Collateral Damage Estimation Methodology dated 13 Feb 2009. CLIN 0002 Travel Expenses This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)) and (FAR 13.501). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 1 December 2009. Supporting evidence must be furnished in SUFFICIENT detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed above. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation. Responses are due 1 December 2009 7:00pm PM Mountain Standard Time. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail tim.whitt@us.army.mil Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted.
