Description
THIS SOLICITATION IS BEING REOPENED TO INCREASE QUANTITY AND CHANGE THE SOLICITATION TO COMMERCIAL. NSN(s): 2815-01-412-8162 Item Description: Piston, Internal Manufacturer’s Code and Part Number (if applicable): General Motors Company (7X677), p/n 12550062 Quantity (including option quantity): 21,782 each/43,564 each with option Destination Information: Various DoD Distribution Depots Delivery Schedule: 180 days All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. (X) The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of 11/24/2009.. (X) The Small Business size standard is 1000 employees. (X) Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. (X) Proposed procurement contains a 100 % option for increased quantities. This item is a commercial item and will be solicited using FAR Part 12. The required quantity is 21,782 each, with an option to purchase an additional 21,782 each. FOB destination and inspection at destination is required. This solicitation and amendment will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 11/24/2009.. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, socioeconomic, and JWOD. The required delivery is 180 days. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: General Motors Company (7X677). TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: Unrestricted.
