- Description
- American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Project, "Replacement and Upgrade of Electrical Systems" at the Hampton VAMC, Hampton, VA. The Hampton VAMC, Hampton, VA is seeking the services of a qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business who has proven experience in hospital building electrical renovations and upgrade work to complete the project for the "Replacement and Upgrade of Electrical Systems" at the Hampton VAMC, Hampton, VA. The contractor shall completely prepare sites for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work to replace and upgrade the electrical system serving, and/or located within buildings 43, 50, 52, 66, 71, 116, 137 and 146 as required by the contract drawings and specifications. The NACIS code for this procurement is 238210 with a small business size standard of $14,000,000.00. This is an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act IFB Firm-fixed price sealed bid project and will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 14. All work shall be completed within 790 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed letter. The estimated dollar amount of this procurement is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be uploaded on FedBizOpps on/about December 7, 2009. The time and date for receipt of bids along with the pre-proposal/walk-through time and date will be stated in the solicitation. The Contracting Officers email address is james.wood7@va.gov. Firms submitting bids must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry, Vet Biz, and VETS100.
