Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. COMPETITIVE SPARESIDIQ IDIQ Contract with a 3 Year Ordering Period, BEQ is 37 for the total 3year requirement, Minimum Order Quantity is 3 each and Maximum OrderQuantity is 18 each, with a Total Contract Maximum of 56 each. New Manufactured Material: A firm fixed price type contract iscontemplated. The items, estimated quantities and required deliveriesare as follows: Line Item 0001: NSN: 4730004941135RKRK, COUPLING ASSEMBLY,TP/N: 7M891-1Description: Quantity: 16.0000 EA Destn: FB2039,Tinker AFB,OK.,73145-9013. Delivery: 31 MAY 2010, 16.00 The approximate solicitation issue date will be 8 December 2009. This is a full and open requirement. All proposals received within 45days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered bythe Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete thisproposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely withinthe discretion of the Government. Information received will normally beconsidered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct acompetitive procurement. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policiescontained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in itssolicitation for the described supplies or services. However,interested persons may identify to the contracting officer theirinterest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with acommercial item within 15 days of this notice. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors orpotential Offerors during the proposal development phase of thisacquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested,the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of theconcern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation ofproposals or in the source selection process.
